Descriptions
This dataset provides mineral compositional information on the classic locality at Waldheim, where the borosilicate mineral prismatine was first described. Apart from a few literature data, the dataset comprises unpublished and new results produced by us. The data were compiled as part of a petrologic and micro-Raman spectroscopic study aiming to reconstruct the metamorphic evolution of the granulite-facies migmatite containing prismatine and other borosilicate phases (Rötzler et al., submitted 2026). Mineral composition data measured by electron microprobe, except if stated otherwise, and mineral formula calculations are presented in Appendix S3. Identifiers, material and localities of the samples analysed for mineral composition are listed in Appendix S1. Analytical methods and laboratories of origin of the unpublished and new results are described in Appendix S2.
