Data for: 'The importance of sample-to-sensor distance in quantitative micro(paleo)magnetic analysis.'

Descriptions

The data in this repository consists of three parts; (1) the magnetic surface scan, (2) the spatial data, and (3) an image of the co-registered data. These data are available for seven different sample-to-sensor distance experiments from the Quantum Diamond Microscope and can be used to replicate the results described in the manuscript. The orientation and scale of the magnetic surface scan matches the orientation and scale of the spatial data. This means that using the combination of these files, an inversion for the magnetic grains can be performed. (1) processed QDM data (XXX_Sub_MagField.txt) (2) processed CT data (XXX_Sub_Grains.txt) (3) co-registered data (XXX_Sub_Area.png) Detailed information about the files in these subfolders is given in README.txt.
