This dataset contains bulk rock geochemical analyses of rock and soil samples from the Miaoya carbonatite-syenite complex in China, generated as part of the SCREED: Supergene enrichment of carbonatite-hosted rare earth element (REE) deposits project. Full sample locations and descriptions are available at https://doi.org/10.5285/83819b57-4754-4da3-9336-955e817573ed. Samples were analysed between September 2024 and October 2025 to determine the chemical change on weathering, and the degree of enrichment of the REE relative to bedrock concentrations. The analysis were carried out by teams from the School of Applied Sciences, University of Brighton.
